4.0 installer fails to start Apache service when installed in path other than root

Description

  • Apache service fails to start with MS4W 4.0 installer
  • reason is that with 4.0, MapCache is now enabled by default, and its mapcache.xml file has hardcoded C:/ms4w paths

Installer must also update the mapcache.xml paths, with the user-chosen directory.

  • Fixed in MS4W 4.0.0-beta2
  • relative paths are now used for MapCache settings, ZOO-Project settings
  • installer also now updates all MapCache and ZOO-Project paths
